Alicia discovered yoga in 2015 when her Pilates instructor suggested she try it. Immediately she was hooked and she began incorporating vinyasa and hot yoga classes to her workout regimen.
Alicia began her yoga teacher training journey in 2019 at Yen Yoga and received her RYT 200 certification under Jenny Lindvendt. Several months later she completed a 3 month mentorship with Leslie Simionescu at Yen Yoga focusing on the 8 Limbs of Yoga and the Chakra system.
In February Alicia became a 500-Hour level yoga teacher as a graduate of the Uplifted YTT program led by Brett Larkin.
Alicia is also very passionate about Pilates and has completed mat and reformer training with Balanced Body Pilates. She has attended numerous Pilates On Tour Continuing Education Courses over the last 10 years.
When not practicing yoga and Pilates, Alicia enjoys spending time with family and friends and her 2 maltipoos Misha and Elvis. She loves boating, motorcycle riding, skiing and hiking.
